To date, Adele’s 21 album has sold a whopping 5.28 million copies in the US in 2011. The sophomore effort becomes the biggest-selling album in a year since Usher’s Confessions, which sold eight million copies in 2004.
This week, Billboard’s Artist Of The Year’s album rests at number 2 with another 277,000 units sold, marking its 43rd week in the top 10.
